Contribute to satisfying the hunger of thousands
"A meal on the Day of A Rafah... satisfies hunger and opens the doors to immeasurable reward." 🍽️ "A meal on the Day of A Rafah... satisfies hunger and opens the doors to immeasurable reward." On one day of the year, a simple meal can change a person's day, alleviate their worries, and provide a sense that there are still those who extend a helping hand and stand with the needy in these times of crisis. On the Day of Arafah, that great day when mercy descends, sins are forgiven, and deeds are multiplied, hearts flock to do good, and souls compete to attain reward. On this blessed day, we launched the "Arafah Meal" initiative to prepare and distribute hot, generous meals to needy families, families living on subsistence, and those deprived of the most basic necessities of life. Led by young Palestinian Wael Ziad Qeshta On one of the most blessed days of the year, and amidst the streets of the Gaza Strip, my small team, led by me, is preparing to unleash its ambitions to launch one of the simplest and most beautiful forms of charity as the war on Gaza continues in 2023. This is by preparing and distributing hot meals on the Day of Arafah. This initiative is led by young Wael Ziad Qeshta, a media student at Al-Aqsa University and a pioneer of influential community initiatives despite limited resources. However, Wael believes that "a meal may not change the world, but it can certainly change an entire day in the life of a hungry person." 💡 From an idea on paper... to tables reaching those in need The idea began with a small notebook in which he recorded people's needs and proposed initiatives to support them. Wael recorded the number of families he knew were in need of meals. We then worked with the team to calculate the cost of the meal, as well as the number of volunteers needed to bring joy to these needy faces, and the amount of food that could be cooked in just one day. On the Day of Arafah, the very day when the doors of mercy and acceptance are opened, with your usual determination, and by working with determination and ambition, Wael tries to gather a team of young volunteers around him to begin preparations, as follows: Identifying the families most in need Contracting with a simple kitchen Carefully preparing meals Distributing them just before the Maghrib call to prayer, so that food is on the tables at iftar 🍛 The story begins in the kitchen... and ends with a smile. From the early hours of dawn, on the greatest day of the year, volunteers, along with Wael, begin preparing food ingredients to produce Iftar meals for those fasting on the Day of Arafah: Rice, beans, meat if available, vegetables, spices, and seasonings... everything is prepared with love. The food is cooked by hands that believe this effort is not just to feed the hungry, but also to draw closer to God on the greatest day of the world. The meals are carefully packaged and distributed in poor neighborhoods, refugee camps, and remote areas that are inaccessible to anyone except charitable people. 🕊️ Gaza... Where goodness is born from need In the Gaza Strip, where more than half the population suffers from food insecurity, a meal is no small thing; it's a blessing... It may not be available on an ordinary day, let alone on the Day of Arafah, when people are fasting and have nothing to break their fast with? Wael says, "The Day of Arafah is a day of goodness and mercy... and the people of Gaza deserve to rejoice on this day, even if it's just with a warm bite that brings joy to their hearts." 👣 Small steps, but they go a long way Last year, by the grace of God and then thanks to your contributions, we were able to distribute more than 1,000 meals on the Day of Arafah 2024. We saw faces light up when the boxes were opened, we heard mothers with tears in their eyes, and children chanting, "Eid is near... Praise be to God, we ate today." 🌙 This year... we want to reach even more. Our goal this year is to distribute 5,000 meals in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, west of Khan Yunis Governorate in the southern Gaza Strip, Palestine. Each meal costs only $8/NIS 28, but it carries a huge weight in your scale of good deeds. Because hunger doesn't wait, and because goodness can't be delayed... a meal on the Day of Arafah can bring happiness to a family and bring countless rewards. 🎯 Our Goal This Year Under the leadership of Wael and his team, we aim to produce and distribute: 5,000 hot meals on the Day of Arafah Delivering them to the poorest families in the Khan Yunis neighborhood At a low cost: only $8 per meal Each meal contains: Rice + White Beans + Vegetables + Dates 🌱 How can you contribute? Contribute $8 = 1 meal $40 = Feed an entire family $800 = Cover an entire neighborhood Or support the campaign by spreading the word and expanding its impact 🔗 Donation link: https://fundahope.com/en/campaigns/heart-of-rafah-the-story-of-man-making-change You can donate via USDT cryptocurrency using the following ID: TGrpNRTZuNZEKMcCHiLRHE1WRtg1tdbosC 💬 "A meal on the Day of Mercy... may be the key to relief." While people are fasting and waiting for the time to break their fast, there are those who have nothing but hope. Be that hope. And contribute to bringing joy to hearts that only know joy when it comes from charitable people. "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Fasting on the Day of Arafah, I hope that Allah will expiate the sins of the year before it and the year after it.'" So what if you combine your fasting with charity? Make this year's Day of Arafah different...and make it your share of giving.

In memory of Graham Nation:Support for the family
With the deepest sorrow, we suddenly lost our beloved Graham on Friday, February 14. Graham’s passing came completely unexpected. The family is left bereft and bewildered and is in a state of tragic shock and sorrow. Graham had an esteemed career as a hairstylist. A true artistic visionary whose creative passions were only magnified by the birth of his son Romeo, who just turned 6 months old on the 5th of February. Graham had an unparalleled work ethic and, along with his incredible partner in life and mother to Romeo, Tonya, it was their shared moral values to create and build a legacy for their beautiful budding family. This was without a doubt Graham's ambition. As Graham continues to be a ray of light and inspiration, we will continue to keep his legacy alive for his son Romeo. As dear friends to Graham, Tonya and Romeo, we have decided to create this gofundme with the intention of providing support for Tonya and Romeo. With the hope of minimizing the stresses around financial hardships in the harrowing days of healing ahead. As well as to show that she will be carried and supported by all who love her, Romeo and Graham by those known, and unknown alike. Should you feel inclined to pay your respects, the funds raised through this link will be given to Tonya and Romeo to help support them through this devastating tragedy. With the utmost respect, we honor Graham’s family, The Cheek family, who raised him to be the wonderful son, brother, and friend we have all known and loved. Our respect and condolences are with Tonya’s family, The Brewer family, as Graham had given their daughter the absolute joy of her life in creating beautiful baby Romeo. And thank you, dear reader, for taking the time to get to know more about our shining, forever star, Graham. Always in our hearts and spirits, we love you, Graham.

Urgent aid for Doctor Hamza
Help & prayers needed. To whom it may concern… I hope this letter finds you well. we appreciate any kind of help. We're not normally the ones to ask, and even find ourselves in this situation with no help. it seems to be difficult. Thank you for all the support and help. My name is Hamza Alsharif, an anesthesiologist and ICU doctor at European Gaza Hospital . After almost 1 year of the brutal genocide on the citizens of Gaza I have lost my house and lost all my savings, but worse of all, my family are displaced far away from me, they are sick. The health system has collapsed and we need to get out of Gaza. Everyday our situation is getting worse. I am a palestinian young man who seeks any opportunity to get his right to live like any other human in this world. To chase my dreams that I unfortunately did not get to, in my city, due to the War. After utterly suffering. I tried to get ready to travel and start a brand new life that could fulfill my dreams. Unfortunately, something unexpected happened, no one in this world, not any person would expect a war to start over. The trauma I and my family went through is inexplicable and I have no idea how to even start to process it at all. This war was very cruel and vicious, it almost destroyed all our dreams. I was unable to proceed chasing my dreams, as I got stuck in gaza displaced with no ability to get food and pay rent. Sadly I can't even afford plane tickets to travel!!. I didn't realize I would get stuck in the country for more than 8 whole months, Which made it harder and harder for me. I hardly got the chance to escape from the deadly war zone. I am now hopelessly stuck in the city not knowing what to do, it's my story and I need urgent help. Now the focus is on grieving and getting help to work through the 8 months that I spent desperately trying to figure out how to continue my studies and proceed with living my live. I have no idea what this looks like but I do know that I and, my family need a lot of support. We need help!
