Title Hope in the Darkness
A Sad Story from the Heart of Gaza I am Muhammad Salah, living in Gaza with my family of nine. Life here is not easy; it is filled with challenges and difficulties. Every day, we wake up with new hope, but this hope quickly fades in the face of a bitter reality. My story begins on a sunny morning when the children were getting ready to go to school. But we didn't have enough food to feed them. I stood in the kitchen, searching the cupboards for crumbs of bread or leftovers, but all I found was a suffocating silence. I felt anxious, thinking about how I would tell them that we couldn't buy food today. As the days passed, I began to feel the heavy burden I was carrying. I saw in my children's eyes an innocence that didn't deserve to be deprived of food and drink. They would innocently ask me, "When will we eat, Dad?" My heart broke because I couldn't promise them anything. I decided to go out into the street, hoping to find any help. I saw some people suffering like us and realized that I was not alone in this pain. Yet, the pain still gripped my heart. I watched other children playing and laughing while I searched for a morsel to eat. One day, a neighbor came to me and offered a bag containing some flour and rice. That moment was like a ray of hope in an impenetrable darkness. I returned home and started preparing a simple meal for my family. When they saw the food, their eyes filled with joy, but I knew that this joy would not last long. In the end, wishes remain in my heart. I pray that God grants us strength and patience in facing these hardships and provides us with the food and drink we need. Despite everything, I believe that hope still exists, and tomorrow may bring us relief.

Help my family get out of the genocide war
Look at me, I am Bashar Abu Karim from Gaza, I am 14 years old, I am living the most miserable days of my life, as for my family, they are living in very harsh and difficult conditions after our house was destroyed, there are pictures of our beautiful and warm house, then we were displaced to live in a tent and in this tent live 15 people, including orphans and patients, and there are all kinds of insects because there is no place for us except the street, and sometimes I sell some biscuits or bread to help my family buy diapers and milk for my little sister in light of the crazy rise in prices here in Gaza, my sister needs food and medicine and she suffers from severe dehydration, and because of the lack of food because she was born in very difficult days we cannot even buy a tomato or any kind of food for us, we go to the shelters and stand in a long line, and sometimes we return without eating and end up living on exhausted and unhealthy canned food. As for my brother Siraj, he helps me sometimes by selling plastic to support me even though he is sick with severe anemia and enters a coma. We need water, which is an urgent need, and we only drink it once every two weeks. Even our heads are full of lice sorry and our bodies are full of bacteria, viruses and scabies. My grandparents are sick. My grandfather has heart disease, high blood pressure and asthma and needs $100 every three days for medicine. My grandmother is diabetic and is bedridden because there is no candy or insulin. My sister's children have become orphans and my mother goes to them to beg them to treat their injuries and they need treatment for burns and they need platinum replacement because the operation failed. I feel like I am losing hope after losing my education, our home, our dreams and our memories. Please help us to live in better conditions and get out of this ordeal. Please we need you because today we are here and tomorrow our fate is unknown.
