I hope everyone is safe, and doing well. My name is Mira. I am a videographer/editor in Lebanon, with over 10 years experience. I have worked hard for many years to grow my own business as a freelancer, creating content, and filming around the country. I love my job with a passion, and put my heart and soul into my work, and share that with everyone I work with. Unfortunately, a few days ago, in broad daylight someone broke into my car and stole all my equipment. Over $7000 worth of equipment was gone. The reason I had them in the car was because I had a shoot to go to that afternoon. I filed a report, immediately after, but to my dismay, there are no clues to find the thief. I believe everything happens for a reason, and I want to keep a positive face, knowing things will be okay. I want to keep growing in my career, and grow in my community with my work. This setback pulled me back immensely and I would greatly appreciate any help I can get to raise the funds to buy some new equipment in order to keep growing. I hope no one experiences this ever. Circus For The Displaced Children Of Artsakh
I am Paramaz Garabet Yepremian, the founder of Circus Hub, specializing in designing and manufacturing circus props, teaching circus arts, and performing. In response to the aftermath of the Artsakh war in 2020, I initiated a successful crowd funding campaign. This enabled me to travel from Lebanon to Armenia, conducting 12 circus art workshops and reaching 250 displaced children in December 2020. Building on that success, I extended my efforts to the Martakert region in Artsakh in September 2022, where I provided circus art workshops to children affected by the conflict. Despite numerous organizations addressing basic needs, there's a gap in providing essential play and education for these displaced children. In light of the current situation, where the entire Armenian population was deported from their homeland Nagorno Karabakh during the month of September 2023. With 26,400 children and their families in urgent need, I've committed to reaching out to 250 displaced children in Armenia and provide circus art workshops and shows. "Play is a universal language that transcends borders and heals wounds. In times of trauma, circus arts becomes a powerful tool for resilience. They instill confidence, foster creativity, and provide a safe space for expression. By supporting this campaign, you're not just funding my costs of travel in this trip; you're investing in the well-being and future of these resilient children." The funds raised will cover my travel expenses from Lebanon to Armenia and transportation within the country to reach children scattered across various regions. This accident left me tetraplegic, meaning I lost mobility and sensation in both my upper and lower limbs. Since then, I've been on a challenging journey of rehabilitation and recovery. In Lebanon, where I currently reside, I've been receiving treatment and therapy for my spinal cord injury. However, the progress has been slow, and I'm at a point where the treatment costs have become overwhelming. The medical facilities in Lebanon, while providing essential care, may not have the advanced equipment and specialized expertise that could significantly improve my chances of recovery. I've been presented with an opportunity to continue my rehabilitation in Turkey. Turkish medical facilities are renowned for their state-of-the-art equipment and experienced professionals, which offer a better chance for recovery and regaining some level of independence. However, the cost of this treatment is beyond what I can afford, given the financial strain this situation has placed on me and my family. This chance to continue my recovery in Turkey is crucial for me to return to a more normal life. It's a beacon of hope after years of suffering and adaptation to my changed circumstances. Helen is a 28 year old born and raised in Syria. She has grown to be a wonderful courageous lady, graduating with a degree in nutrition in a Beirut, Lebanon. Helen needs a cardiac valve replacement surgery and pectus excavatum repair which is a severe deformity left over in the chest cage that resulted from a previous open heart surgery. Helen was born with a heart condition called tetralogy of Fallot and had it repaired as a young child, and that repair helped her for about 26 years. But now her heart is failing and her pulmonary valve is leaking and it needs to be replaced as soon as possible. Helen needs your help to keep her heart going. She has been following up with her surgeon in Jordan where she had her initial surgery. He is the best surgeon to continue her care and she is going to see him soon for her planned surgery. The cost of the surgery will exceed $22,000 according to the letter she received from her surgeon’s office. She is required to pay the cost in advance in order to book her surgery. As you may imagine, that’s a lot of money, in addition to taking a break from work, paying travel costs, as well as hospital stay and intensive care unit expenses, then her long recovery time to follow. That’s why Helen needs all the help she can get to collect this amount of money for her surgery and recovery. h have a long friendship with Helena, and at the same time she is the nutritionist responsible for my health condition.
