My mother has been ill since the end of 2019, which is approximately four years now. She can't eat any food because she quickly experiences diarrhea. Over these four years, her health has deteriorated significantly. We consulted many doctors, and each one diagnosed the condition differently. In the end, it turned out that my mother has a prolapse of the pelvic organs, including the uterus and bladder. She urgently needs surgery because this could put her at risk of cancer and infections. Our situation is very difficult, and we cannot afford the $6,000 needed for the operation. I'm asking everyone who can to donate even just one dollar; it will make a significant difference. We have all the medical reports, explanations of the condition, and the cost of the surgery available if you'd like to review them. My hope and dream are for my mother to recover and be free from her pain after four years of suffering. Thank you to everyone who will donate, and if you need more details, please contact this number: +71285735. Thank you to all.

Fund my education
Greetings! I'm an ambitious Lebanese International Student pursuing Aerospace Engineering at Concordia University in Canada. Despite my determination, the dire financial crisis in Lebanon has cast a shadow over my dreams. To keep my education afloat, I've taken on two part-time jobs and a full-time internship. I initially arrived with the confidence of ample financial support, but circumstances have left me teetering on the edge of academic disqualification and potential deportation due to visa non-compliance. Your support can be a lifeline that keeps me in school and in the country. I have completed 74.75 credits so far and still have 69.25 credits to complete my 144-credit program and complete a third and last work term as part of my co-op program. As an international student, I am required to study full time (12 credits/semester minimum) which makes the cost of each semester up to 15000 Canadian Dollars. Being a Co-op student, I am required to study full-time at all times (including the summer semester), making my yearly tuition equivalent to 45000 Canadian Dollars for the academic year 2022-2023. I have covered 6000 CAD so far, however, my family is struggling to provide the rest. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings me closer to completing my unique program and earning a degree that's unavailable back home. My academic record stands as a testament to my dedication (current GPA of 3.0), and I'm committed to achieving my goals. Unfortunately, the university's assistance is limited, and I lack familial support here. If you're in a position to contribute, I'm immensely grateful. If not, simply sharing this link could lead it to someone who can make a difference. Thank you sincerely for your consideration and support!

Send Lebanese Robotics Champs to Panama

Send Lebanese Robotics Champs to Panama
My students need your help! I'm Charbel Daoud, a proud Robotics & Coding Mentor with over 8 years of experience in the field. For the past 8 months, I've been coaching two remarkable teams in Lebanon, and their dedication has led to an incredible achievement. In the July 2023 national competition in Lebanon, my two teams, APROMON and GREEN SAILER, excelled, securing first place in the senior categories of Future Engineers and Future Innovators. Now, they have the honor of representing Lebanon in Panama this coming November 2023, an opportunity that means the world to them. Team APROMON, consisting of Jonathan Achkouty, Charbel Estephan, and Jad Mouawad, has designed an impressive autonomous car using Arduino technology. This self-driving car, equipped with ultrasonic sensors and Pixy Cam v2.1, demonstrates remarkable precision as it tackles challenges that mimic real-life situations. On the other hand, Team GREEN SAILER, composed of Rayan Baaklini, Alexandre Saghbini, and Jean Zaatar, has crafted a solar boat using Arduino and developed a mobile application to control it. We believe in the power of robotics and creativity to shape the future, and we invite you to join us in supporting these talented individuals on their journey to the World Robotics Competition in Panama. Your generous donations will help them showcase their innovation and hard work on a global stage. This year's International World Robotics Competition, hosted in Panama, is an exciting opportunity for our teams to shine once again. Last year in Lebanon, we emerged victorious in the same competition and even competed in Germany, achieving a remarkable 20th place worldwide. With your support, we aim to reach an even higher rank this year. However, this victory comes with a financial challenge. The Championship entails expenses of $3,700 per individual, and we are a team of seven: six students and one coach. This cost covers flights, transportation, seven days of food and accommodation for the team. In addition to that, the transportation of our high-tech robots to Panama. Robotics is an enriching but costly endeavor. Entry fees, robotics parts, promotional items like team shirts and buttons, and international travel expenses add up significantly. As a coach, I cannot shoulder this financial burden alone. We humbly request the support of parents, relatives, friends, and generous donors who believe in our cause and want to contribute to the success of these aspiring young innovators. Together, we can make a difference through the power of robotics and creativity. Your support will not only enable our teams to compete but also foster a passion for STEM education in our students, helping them achieve their dreams and represent Lebanon with pride on the global stage.

Urgent Help for Lebanese Civil Defense Volunteers

Urgent Help for Lebanese Civil Defense Volunteers
URGENT APPEAL Many young civil defense fighter’s lives have been lost due to the lack of basic gear (fire-resistant protective costumes and shoes). 2,000 new volunteers have joined the Lebanese Civil Defense as of this summer but remain unequipped with protective gear. Brave volunteers of the Lebanese civil defense are facing perilous situations as they put their lives on the line to protect communities from fires, explosions, and the effects of climate change. As you may already be aware, the Lebanese civil defense volunteers, in their unwavering dedication, work to safeguard their fellow citizens from fire hazards and other emergencies. However, they are confronted with numerous challenges, including a lack of critical equipment that protects them from fire, such as special protective outfits as well as shoes for fires. Additionally, they lack the resources needed to effectively combat fires, particularly in forested areas, due to the absence of a UTV+ Ultra high water, that can drive over the rubble or in forest fires, Pumps (Portable Wild fire water pumps). The gravity of the situation is compounded by the adverse effects of climate change, which have intensified fire incidents, making firefighting efforts even more arduous. Furthermore, the haunting memories of the tragic explosions in Beirut have left the civil defense volunteers on high alert, especially while courageously perform their duties. Regrettably, the government's support to the Lebanese civil defense remains insufficient, leaving them with primitive equipment that jeopardizes their safety and effectiveness in responding to emergencies. In light of these challenges, we humbly appeal to your esteemed organization for help and support. Your expertise in disaster relief and firefighting is invaluable, and your assistance could significantly improve the safety and efficiency of the Lebanese civil defense's operations. We kindly request your organization to consider providing the following essential fire protection equipment for the Lebanese civil defense: 1. Special Shoes for Firefighters: Fire-resistant footwear to shield volunteers from extreme heat and hazardous conditions. 2. Protective Costumes: Heat-reflective clothing, helmets, gloves, and goggles, to safeguard volunteers during firefighting operations. 3. UTV + Ultra High Water Pump, that drives over rubble. 4. Portable wild fire water pumps 5. in addition to other equipments that are going to be shared later, images, estimated costs as well as with the quantity needed. Your support can make a tremendous difference in saving lives and protecting communities from devastating fires. We are open to collaborating with your organization to ensure the proper distribution and utilization of the donated equipment, ensuring maximum impact. Attached, you will find detailed information about the current situation, the specific needs of the Lebanese civil defense, due to the economical crisis in Lebanon.. We sincerely hope that you will take our appeal into consideration and extend your compassionate support to this noble cause. Thank you for your time and consideration. Should you require any further information or wish to discuss this matter in detail, please do not hesitate to contact us. Together, we can bring hope and safety to the courageous volunteers of the Lebanese civil defense. With heartfelt gratitude, President of Rotary Club Beirut Liberty
