نبذة عن المشروع:
نحن فريق Ecojoun، مشروع بيئي انطلق من بلدة جون – قضاء الشوف منذ عام 2022، ونعمل على إدارة النفايات المنزلية بطرق مستدامة ومجتمعية. حالياً، نخدم أكثر من 1200 بيت نقوم بجمع وفرز نفاياتها من المصدر، ونعالج العضوية منها باستخدام الديدان واليرقات لإنتاج سماد طبيعي. كما نعيد تدوير البلاستيك والزجاج، ونحوّل العوادم إلى منتجات مثل البلاط والمقاعد الإسمنتية.

لماذا نطلب دعمكم؟
نطمح لتوسيع المشروع ليشمل كافة بلدات إقليم الخروب – قضاء الشوف، ولدينا خطة متكاملة لتطوير المشروع على المستوى البيئي والاجتماعي. دعمكم اليوم سيساعدنا على:
• شراء 2 بيك أب لجمع النفايات
• شراء مكبس بلاستيك
• شراء فرّامة بلاستيك
• شراء غربال للسماد العضوي
• شراء قالب لصب البلاط من العوادم
• شراء مكبس للزجاج وأكياس الشيبس

من أهدافنا أيضًا:
• زرع حوالي 5000 شجرة سنويًا في المناطق المحيطة لتعزيز الغطاء الأخضر
• توزيع شجرة مثمرة لكل عائلة تستقبل مولودًا جديدًا، لتعزيز العلاقة بين الإنسان والطبيعة
• التخفيف من قطع الأشجار عبر تحويل جفت الزيتون إلى حطب بديل يُستخدم للتدفئة بدلاً من الأغصان الحرجية

Project Title:
Ecojoun – An Environmental Project from Joun (Chouf District)

About the Project:
We are the Ecojoun team, an environmental initiative launched in 2022 in the town of Joun – Chouf District. We currently serve over 1,200 households, collecting and sorting waste at the source. Organic waste is processed using worms and larvae to produce natural compost. We also recycle plastic and glass and transform residuals into practical items like tiles and concrete benches.

Why Do We Need Your Support?
We aim to expand our work to cover all towns of Iqlim al-Kharroub – Chouf District, with a clear vision for environmental and social impact. Your support will help us:
• Purchase 2 pickup trucks for waste collection
• Buy a plastic baler
• Buy a plastic shredder
• Acquire a compost sifter
• Get a mold for tile production from waste
• Buy a press for glass and chips bags

Some of our additional goals include:
• Planting around 5,000 trees per year to strengthen local green cover
• Offering a fruit tree to every family with a newborn to connect people with nature
• Reducing deforestation by converting olive waste (jift) into eco-friendly firewood as an alternative to tree branches
