My name is Kristal Mackey, a single mother of two living in The Bahamas. My eldest son, an honor student and graduate of Queen’s College, was recently accepted into George Mason University to study International Law and Securities. He turns 17 this Monday—what a gift!

After losing my job in January while caring for my younger autistic son, I’ve been doing my best to stay afloat through remote, commission-based work. But the truth is—between rent, utility bills, and now back-to-school costs—I’m falling behind, fast.

Despite receiving scholarships, we still need help covering:
• Tuition balance
• Travel for both of us to the U.S.
• Rent and basic living expenses
• School supplies
