صحافي في جريدة النهار؛
حاصل على دبلوم في المعلوماتية العامة ودبلوم في المعلوماتية الإدارية من CNAM-Paris؛
حائز على إجازة في الصحافة من كلية الاعلام والتوثيق في الجامعة اللبنانية؛
تابع دراسته من الروضة حتى صف الثانوي الأول في الكلية العاملية، وتخرج من ثانوية رأس النبع الرسمية.
عمل في أكثر من قناة ووكالة أنباء في مجال الإعلام؛
لديه مقالات متخصصة بالقضية الكردية منشورة في جريدة السفير اللبنانية.
يشغل حاليا مركز مسؤول صفحة "صيحات" في جريدة النهار وله مقالات منشورة تتعلق في شتى المواضيع السياسية والثقافية.
وُلد ونشأ في محلة رأس النبع في شارع عمر بن الخطاب؛ شارك منذ نشأته في المظاهرات العمالية في أوائل التسعينات مرافقاً والده المناضل النقابي كامل فقيه.
تعرّف مع والده على العمل النقابي وخضع لدورات نقابية مع مؤسسة فريدريش إيبرت. كان الشأن العمالي وحقوق العمال وأنظمة التشغيل من صميم اهتماماته نضالياً وإعلامياً.
على الصعيد الإعلامي، تخصّص في الاعلام الرقمي واعلام المجتمع المدني وخضع لدورات عدة مع مؤسسة مهارات ومؤسسة الصوت الحر (هولندا) ومركز حماية الصحفيين والوكالة الفرنسية للتعاون الإعلامي.
عام 2011، كان من الوجوه المنظمة لحراك اسقاط النظام الطائفي ومظاهراته العابرة للمناطق آنذاك.
لمع نجمه أثناء حراك ملف النفايات عام 2015 وأثناء اقتحام وزارة البيئة من قبل الناشطين واستمر في الحراك رغم خمود الشارع.
ظُهر يوم الخميس 17 تشرين 2019، نشر مقالاً في جريدة النهار بعنوان "في اليوم الدولي للقضاء على الفقر... لبنان بحاجة إلى أوكرانيين وحاويات كبيرة" ومساء ذلك اليوم كان هو الذي دعا وحرّك المظاهرة الأولى اعتراضاً على السياسة الضرائبية والتي أدت إلى اندلاع ثورة 17 تشرين.
ولا يزال في الشارع إلى جانب الناس، معهم وخلفهم.

Mahmoud Kamel Fakih
A journalist at Annahar newspaper, currently in charge of the "Sayhat" page; He has published several articles concerning various political and cultural topics. He is renowned for his articles on the Kurdish cause in the Lebanese newspaper “As-Safir”, and had worked in numerous media channels and news agencies.

He holds a degree in journalism from the Faculty of Science and Documentation at the Lebanese University, and a diploma in Computer science (Engineering and Computer Integration) from CNAM - Paris, and a diploma in Business Computer engineering from CNAM - Paris.

He is a specialist in digital media, civil society media, and a trained media activist involved with several institutions in the field of Human Rights and Freedoms such as “Maharat”, Free Voice Foundation (Netherlands), the Center for the Protection of Journalists, and the French Agency for the cooperation in media.

He practiced activism alongside his father, the late trade union activist Kamel Faqih, and participated since his early years in labor demonstrations from Al-Barbeer Bridge to Down Town Beirut and all areas in Lebanon. He underwent union courses with the Labor Union Organization Friedrich Ebert, where his main concerns were labor laws, labor rights and operating systems, as a militant and a journalist.

Political activist, member of Tahalof Watani and October 17 youth, he was one of the organizers of the movement against the sectarian regime and its demonstrations in 2011. He played a major role in the uprising during the waste crisis in 2015 and during the demonstrations against the Ministry of Environment. He continued activism and mobilization despite the street silence.

He wrote the article "On the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty... Lebanon needs Ukrainians and big containers" published in An-Nahar newspaper on morning of Thursday, October 17, 2019, and was one of the first to call and mobilize the first protest against tax policy, which led to the October 17 revolution.
And he's still on the street next to the people, with them and behind them.
Born in Mahalleh Ras Al-Nabaa, Bin Al-Khattab Street; He studied in AMILIAH high school, and graduated from Ras Al-Nabaa public high school.
