• a Professor in Chemistry at the American University of Beirut
• The co-founder and executive director of Khaddit Beirut and the Director and founder of the Environment Academy (EA).
• Member of the Scientific Board of the International Basic Science Programme (IBSP) at UNESCO and as a Chair of a Technical Advisory Group on the Global Air Quality Platform and Health (GAPH-TAG) at WHO.
• Has won a number of environmental and scientific awards

Mark Daou
• a university lecturer in Media Studies at the American University of Beirut (AUB) and the Lebanese American University (LAU).
• Founder of “Rowat Public Relations” firm
• Co-founder of “Taqaddom” party
