My name is Kasun Dilhara, and I am a 22-year-old student with a strong passion for learning. From a young age, I dreamed of going to university. Unfortunately, I could not get into a government university. However, I didn’t give up. I took on small labor jobs to save money and eventually managed to enroll in a private university with a payment plan.

I currently study at Horizon Campus in Malabe while staying in a small boarding house. My family is going through many difficulties. My mother is seriously ill, and my sister lives with me. My father, after recovering from a heart attack, had a serious fall from our rooftop, which added to his health issues. All these challenges have put our family under a lot of emotional and financial stress.

Despite these hardships, I continue to focus on my education because I believe it’s the only way I can create a better life for myself and my loved ones. Our home is in the Badalkumbura area of the Monaragala District. Every step I take toward my education feels heavy, but I carry it with hope. I am reaching out for your support.
