I am a daughter of two migrant workers who spent almost 40 years of their lives i n Lebanon trying to make ends meet. I grew up developing this compassion towards animals as my mother spend most of her days rescuing cats and feeding stray ones. Unfortunately, my mother passed away two years ago due a tragic car accident while crossing the street. Ever since, I have been struggling to follow her path because of many other responsibilities. The loss of my mother crippled our family in so many ways. I found myself becoming the main breadwinner of the family with my brother and father being unemployed because of the country's structural economic problems. Every month, I struggle to feed 52 strays and take care of the 23 cats at home. Let alone think of ways to get them spayed and neutered is a big burden.
I Know that out there, there are people who would understand this struggle and be able to support with anything to help me carry out my mission.
My greatest vision is to build a cat house someday away from the city and to host strays.
