🌍 Help Me Become a Humanitarian Leader
🌍 Help Me Become a Humanitarian Leader – George’s Story
My name is George Sogoja, a passionate young humanitarian from Tanzania. I have been accepted into the prestigious Master of Arts in International Humanitarian Action at the University of Malta, starting this September 2025 – a dream come true.
This Master's program, part of the Network on Humanitarian Action (NOHA), is globally respected for training humanitarian leaders. It will equip me with the skills to respond to global crises, support refugees, and contribute to peacebuilding efforts in Africa and beyond.
Growing up in Tanzania, I have witnessed the impacts of conflict, climate disasters, and inequality. My passion is to be part of the solution – to support vulnerable communities through effective humanitarian response and policy work.
I am now reaching out to kind individuals, friends, well-wishers, and organizations to help raise the necessary funds to pursue this life-changing opportunity.
💰What I Need
To attend the program, I need to raise €24,000 (~60 million TZS), which will cover:
• Tuition fees: €16,000
• Visa and travel costs: €2,000
• Living expenses and accommodation: €6,000
I’ve already started applying to scholarships and reaching out to NGOs, but I need your help to bridge the gap.
🙏 How You Can Help
Any contribution, large or small, will bring me closer to my dream. Even sharing this page with your network would mean the world to me.
Your support will not only change my life — it will enable me to help others in crisis through humanitarian service for years to come.
Thank You
Thank you for believing in me and my mission to serve humanity. I promise to use this opportunity to give back, inspire, and uplift those in need.
With heartfelt gratitude,
George Sogoja
