Help an Ill Palestinian Refugee Reunite with Fam.
Hello,
My name is Yazan and I’m trying to help a really good friend of mine, this is his story and massage to you:
I'm Mahammad, a 32-year-old Palestinian who was born in Syria. It's been more than a decade since I've seen my family, as I fled the war-torn land to seek asylum in Thailand back in 2013. Living as a refugee has been fraught with challenges, but nothing prepared me for the uphill battle I faced when I was diagnosed with mesial temporal sclerosis in 2021.This debilitating condition has made it evident that I can no longer continue life in Thailand as it is, without access to work or a stable environment. My heart's only desire is to be reunited with my family in Syria, who I've been parted from for so long. However, the path to reunion is fraught with financial barriers.I am launching this campaign to raise $2,500, which will cover the essential expenses to make this journey possible. The funds will be used to pay an immigration overstay fine, secure a plane ticket to Syria, and cover necessary travel fees and basic documentation costs.I find myself at a crossroads with no means to fund this journey myself. Therefore, I am reaching out with humility to ask for your aid in achieving this dream. Your contribution, no matter the size, gets me a step closer to returning to freedom, and to my family. Please, if you can, consider donating today. Your generosity can change the trajectory of my life, offering me the chance to reunite with those I cherish and leave behind this life of uncertainty.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Mahammad Barbour
